Ingredients

• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 cup of flour
• 1 cup of cocoa powder
• 1 cup of milk
• 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of oil
• 1 cup of eggs
• 1 cup of baking powder
• 1 cup of baking soda
• 1 cup of salt
• 1 cup of vanilla extract
• 1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
5. Stir in the boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.
6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to cool completely.
